A Brettanomyces assisted porter. This beer was brewed with a simple mix of roasted and biscuit malts. Initially fermented with our house yeast, it started life as a no frills porter with chocolate malt flavours and red berry top notes from the traditional English Hops. We then carried out a 6 month secondary fermentation with Brettanomyces yeast. The beer is now showing tropical fruit aroma as well as subtle sweet spice and savoury, earthy goodness. It has been bottle conditioned for maximum naughtiness. This beer is ready to drink now but will develop further in the bottle!
