Mixed Ferm Showcase
We’re excited to announce a unique event at the taproom, taking place on the 12th August showcasing our mixed fermentation programme, with conversation led by our brewers and the chance to try some of our core range, experimental projects and unreleased specials.
We’ll be kicking off at 6pm, and showcasing four of our mixed fermentation beers over the course of the night, leading conversations in explaining the concept and nuance of these styles, plus tapping four other projects for you to try over the course of the evening.
There are 60 tickets available for this event, with four 1/3 pours of the showcase beers included in the ticket price, and the chance to grab some limited edition glassware on the night.
Simple Wheat Thing SS – Simple Wheat Thing is a young, mixed fermentation beer that has been fermented and conditioned in stainless steel. A delicate beer with fruity esters, low bitterness and clean acidity.
Simple Wheat Thing BA – This is a simple beer brewed with wheat that was fermented and conditioned with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria, and aged in oak for one year. It is a blend of multiple barrels to create the balance we are aiming for. Bright, clean and acidic with notable lemon and hay aroma and flavour.
Blend 3 – The base beer is a blend of 1-2 yrs old beers conditioned in ex red wine barrels. Before packaging, this blend spent 4 weeks on 225g/l of raspberries. Bright, funky, tart and with a beautiful raspberry jamminess – this Blend is fruity and complex yet refreshing to drink.
Everybody Needs A 303 – A simple beer brewed with wheat, fermented and conditioned with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria and aged in oak. This a blend of multiple barrels, some containing fruit to create the balance and character we were aiming for.
Plus four extra special mixed fermentation beers to be tapped on the night!
